Our expert installers take the time and effort out of installing Artificial Grass yourself. By choosing us, your garden will look seamless. Funnily enough, the hardest part of the installation process isn’t actually laying the Artificial Grass, it is the preparation of the ground it is going to be laid upon. This is why it is important to use a professional as they have the correct robust equipment in order to lay the grass precisely.
Firstly, the installer will remove any debris including turf, stones and a layer of the soil in order to put a layer of sand down. It is at this stage when weed killer is put down.
A vibrating plate is then used to compact the sand layer, this is what makes the Artificial Grass level. Next, the weed barrier membrane is pinned into place to go underneath anywhere that will be covered with Artificial Grass.
It is at this stage when the Artificial Grass is finally laid. The grass comes in rolls and more than often more than one roll will be needed to cover the area. When the installer joins these rolls together, they will use grass coloured joining tape and adhesive glue underneath the grass to ensure it isn’t visible.
In most cases, Artificial Grass can be installed in a couple of days by our installers. Give us a call today and we’ll be sure to find the perfect grass for you.
